Webinar “Environmental Mainstreaming in Youth Mobility Projects”

The webinar take place during three days (12th, 14th and 16th September 2022) from 11.00am to 1.30pm. This webinar was open to mobility planners and youth workers, but as well as young people involved in informal youth groups carry out youth exchanges.
The programme of the webinar was:

  • Introduction to environmental mainstreaming: relevance, international agreements and current regulations.
  • Integration of the environment in the youth mobility project cycle and environmental impact analysis.
  • Tools and resources for environmental mainstreaming in mobility projects.

What are the objectives of GAEMY?

The project aims to develop the sustainability competencies of youth workers and youth organisations and supports a planned approach to environmental sustainability in international mobility planning

Increasing quality, innovation, and recognition

The project aims to increase the capacity of youth workers - among other staff - regarding environmental sustainability

Raise awareness of young people

Raise awareness of young people regarding environmental and climate-change challenges and enable them to be true actor of change.

Sustainable Green Europe

Increase international cooperation to eliminate environmentally harmful production and consumption. - Support and strengthen opportunities for young people to volunteer in the environmental sector
